Quotes from former or current players, coaches, or bosses, “I am so lucky to have had a coach like Coach Jess. She inspired me every day to be better than the day before both on and off the court. Her focus on fundamentals and technical skills made be the best volleyball player I could have hoped to be. Not only was she a fabulous coach, she was a mentor and supporter of all of my scholastic endeavors. I never expected to learn about being a strong, fearless woman from a college coach, but this is one of the many lessons Coach Jess teaches her players. I hope I can inspire future college athletes as she inspired me all these years. -Sydnei Patton – (Fisk '20 - SGA President and Former Volleyball Captain)
