Moore Receives Hall of Fame Honor
Veteran Fisk Coach and former player is now in the Nashville Schools Hall of Fame

NASHVILLE – Last week, Fisk University Head Golf Coach Robert Moore was honored by the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) Sports as a member of their 2024 class of the Hall of Fame. Moore was a four-sport letterman at Cameron High School in basketball, baseball, golf, and tennis where he graduated in 1966.
"This is a long time coming for me and a huge honor," said Moore. "I want to thank MNPS for this recognition.
Moore held the Fisk record for points in a game with 55 until this season when women's basketball player scored 60 points against Southern University of New Orleans. He still holds the men's record. In his 24 years of coaching at Fisk, he has held the top position in basketball, golf, and tennis.
